Beginner-Friendly Wright Direction Rides

Kiddie Rides- $30/rider
Ages 3-5. One on one instruction or can accommodate small groups. Includes basic knowledge, grooming, saddling, groundwork, and an instructor-led ride. (30 min duration)
Private Lesson- $60/rider
Ages 5 and up. One on one instruction. Includes basic knowledge, grooming, saddling, groundwork, and riding. We work at the individual's pace and work to increase confidence while maintaining safety around horses and in the saddle. (1 hour duration)
Group Lesson- $50/rider
Ages 5 and up. Includes basic knowledge, grooming, saddling, groundwork and riding. We work at the individual's pace and work to increase confidence while maintaining safety while riding in a small group. Great for friends and/or family that want to learn and grow together! We also offer the option to pair riders with rider(s) similar in age and ability. Max of 3 riders in a group. (1 hour duration)
WDH Lesson Client Trail Ride- $80/rider
Ages 8 and up. Must be a current student of Wright Direction Horsemanship. Includes grooming, saddling, groundwork, and a professionally guided ride through the hills and valleys of Cross Trails (1.5-2 hour duration).
Care Combo- $120/student
Ages 8 and up. This lesson is catered to horse-crazy kids who want to learn everything there is to know about horses and/or adults who are preparing to purchase a horse of their own! After covering a large variety of topics in terms of the care of a horse, we will end with a rewarding horseback ride! (2 hour duration)
Fundamentals of Barrel Racing- $65/student
Ages 8 and up. Rider must be able to ride two-handed at a trot and lope. We build on the basic fundamentals of Horsemanship as it applies to the barrel pattern. Riders are taught how to find their leads, the "pocket", rate, and so much more. Riders will not be running the pattern but rather learning the ins and outs of slow-work to prepare for a perfect pattern. "Smooth is Fast!" (1 hour duration)
Fundamentals of Roping- $65/student
Ages 8 and up. Rider must be able to ride two-handed at a trot and lope. Riders will learn to handle the rope from the ground. Once proficient, rider will graduate to horseback. No live cattle will be used. The roping dummy that is employed will allow the situation to be controlled safely at all times, while providing the foundation every beginner roper needs to excel.
***Clients will be required to pre-pay in full via PayPal or Zelle. If client cancels within 24 hours of scheduled ride, client will be refunded 50% of ride fee. Reschedule option will be given within 30 days. If client cancels within 12 hours of scheduled ride, no refund will be given and we are not inclined to reschedule the ride.
